Data Collection and Click-Stream Data
Browsing any website, including the CoC site, generates a trail of the pages that are visited, and the time apparently spent displaying each page. Click streams are the paths a user takes when navigating a website and the Internet in general.
When you visit our site, our servers may record the following information for statistical purposes:
- The user's server (IP) address and machine name
- The date and time of visit to the site
- The pages accessed and documents downloaded
- The number of bytes transmitted and received for each request

CoC examines this information to determine the traffic through the server, and to specific pages or applications, in order to deliver better services.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. CoC uses only session ID cookies and, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. Cookies can be easily blocked on your computer by simply un-checking the "accept cookies" option in your web browser. This can be found under the options menu of your Microsoft Explorer browser software.
Protection of Personal Information
CoC will only record your email address if you send us a message, or if you register with us to use our software application, or to be included on a mailing list. Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you provided it. We will not use your email address for any other purpose and will not disclose it to other parties, without your consent.

CoC may decide to link to other websites which contain related information. The City is not responsible for the content of any linked sites.
A link to a site does not imply that the City endorses that site or the organisation operating that site, it is for reference purposes only.
CoC may link to a site that collects information about the user and we cannot control the collection of this information. Users should contact these content providers directly if there are any questions about the use of information they collect. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies, or no policy at all. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third party sites or services before providing them with personal information.
When linking to an external website, text around the link will make it clear to the user that they are about to leave the CoC website. Links should open as externally linked pages in a new browser window - the external site will not be framed within the CoC website.
